The Seven Sisters Falls is located at a distance of about 4 km from Cherrapunji main town and 57 km from Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya.

By Air: Umroi airport in Shillong is the nearest domestic airport. Air India and Indigo Airlines run direct flights to Shillong from Kolkata. The other major domestic and international airport is located in Guwahati. It is nearly 5 hours drive to Cherrapunji from Guwahati airport.

By Train: The nearest railhead to Seven Sisters Falls is in Guwahati. It has direct trains from many major cities of the country, such as Kolkata, Mumbai and Delhi.

Best season to visit

Cherrapunji is one of the wettest places on earth and the weather remains pleasant throughout the year.

Rainy season offers the most scenic view of the Seven Sisters Falls when it flows with immense fury.
